The Sunshine Coast Scorchers Cricket Club are seeking interest and applications for the following Scorchers Male Program coaching roles for the 2023- 2024 season:

· Scorchers Mens Premier Squad Head Coach

· Scorchers Mens Premier Squad Assistant Coach & U19 Team Head Coach

· Scorchers Mens Premier Squad Assistant Coach & U17 Team Head Coach

Working closely with the Scorchers Director of Cricket, Andrew Pearce, these coaching roles provide opportunity, with guidance and support, to lead the development and performance of the individuals and squads within the Scorchers Male Program. With an emphasis on working together, and sharing skills and information as a coaching team for the betterment of individuals and teams associated with the Male program. Together with coaches of all Scorchers teams, work with Sunshine Coast clubs, in an integrated Scorchers Male program for the development and success of all Scorchers players and teams. 

All coaching roles within the Male Program will also seek to work closely with the Scorchers Female Program coaches to develop a greater sense of ‘Club’. Whilst sharing ideas and philosophies all Scorchers coaches will be expected to model an understanding of a ‘Growth Mindset’ amongst peers and players for the betterment of self and others.

The roles will involve coaching and pre-season planning discussions in late April – May, for pre-season coaching with players to commence in June 2023 (TBC)
