The Sunshine Coast Cricket Association Inc. (SCCA) is a unique organisation managing local competitions comprising 16 affiliated clubs, along with seven representative teams competing in the QLD Premier Cricket Competitions. These teams play under the banner of the Sunshine Coast Scorchers in the 1st and 2nd Grade Men’s and Women’s, U19 Male, U16 Male and U15 Female competitions against 11 other Premier Cricket Clubs. Our junior representative teams also compete under the Sunshine Coast Scorchers banner ranging in ages from U12 – U16 boys, U13 and U15 girls and participate in carnivals throughout South-East Queensland.
The SCCA geographical region spans from Burpengary in the south to Gympie in the north, with 16 clubs playing in men’s, women’s and junior competitions. Our affiliated clubs include Burpengary, Caboolture, Wamuran-Stanley Rivers, Glasshouse, Landsborough, Maleny, Caloundra, Maroochydore, Palmwoods, Nambour, USC, Yandina, Coolum, Cooroy-Eumundi, Tewantin-Noosa and Gympie.
On a week to week basis we have over 2340 players competing in cricket competitions either locally on the Sunshine Coast or in South East Qld making Sunshine Coast cricket attractive to both players and sponsors alike.
